Take time to make your soul happy!

It is Spring--  "Spring has sprung--"--and we have rain falling--  NO SNOW! Geepers creepers!---- Our whole yard is one huge ice-y mess --but-- at least with  cleats on my boots, I can walk on it!~

I lay in bed this morning thinking to-day was Sunday--already--  And --it's only Saturday--  I am so so happy about that! --So, to-day I can stay home, and to-morrow I shall go for bananas at No Frills.  So much has happened since yesterday-- The cable company called--will be here next week to fix the dish-- The Health clinic called also--and both Himself and I can go on for our 2nd booster shot , next week-- that will make  4 shots that we will each have --but--I hear that the latest variant to the Covid, now has a variant added onto it--Lord love duck! --  I'm afraid that this will go on and on--forever! -- I shall wear the mask--wash the hands--distance  myself from people--FOREVER!

Himself is good this AM--normal as he can be! ---Yesterday I did increase his very mild tablet--It seems to have helped him this morning.--

On this first day of Spring, even tho it's cloudy, it feels good to be alive-- We have heat--we have water-- we can walk outside (if we don't slip on the ice)_ the bank book balances--we have our health---and I am so thankful-- Happy Spring--Oh--and send that goose , that one of you saw yesterday, up here to it's "fatherland"--  We are watching for them to arrive!---AND_______

  1. Spring begins at midnight tonight Lynda, so "Happy Spring" to you & Fred. I am so glad to hear that he is good this morning, that helps make you feel good too.

Raining here too but we don't have the ice and snow that you do, you're almost at the North Pole, lol. Just be very careful when walking outside, even with those cleats on your boots.

Love and big hugs to you, Fred and the furry babies. xoxo

  2. Its raining here too ... minus the ice. We had a few teaser days of sun and 75 degrees. Snow and ice are gone. March is fickle so I do hope bad weather stays gone.
Be very careful when walking outside even with cleats.
Yep, its Saturday. A new day to be grateful and joyful.
Glad Fred is fine this morning.
    Enjoy your Saturday.

  4. Such a happy feeling blog today! Filled with good news: Himself, getting to stay home, and SPRING!!!

It will be 60F here today. Our lot needs resurfacing, so there is water in the depths of the holes. They will probably freeze on colder nights. We will still need to be aware of icy places earlier in the day.

We do have so much to look forward to! I am soothing my soul tonight by going with friends to our local Eagles club for karaoke!

    Have a wonderful weekend, Lynda. (oh, and no mention of Lopez, so he must be behaving ;-) {{{HUGS}}}

  5. It is a rainy day here in NH too. Most of our snow is gone and the ice is going out of the yard slowly but surely. Haven't seen any geese headed North yet but when we do it for sure is Spring no matter what the calendar says.

  7. OMG! My Mom used to always sing the ditty “Geepers creepers, where’d you get those peepers. Geepers creepers, where’d you get those eyes.” LOL Thanks for the memories!

Yes, Omicron has Ba.1 and now Ba.2 variants. BUT, though they’re contagious, it doesn’t seem to be requiring hospitalization like some of the other variants. Glad you and Himself will get booster #2.

So glad that the med is helping Himself. I imagine he appreciates feeling a little more like himself, too.

Well ugly and rainy here, but . . . it's not snow and ice! I'll take it. And Spring is due any time now!

  8. It's great to have a great day. I have seen quite a few geese here in Toronto. Maybe they're tired and it's taking them longer to get there. A lot of our snow has melted during the last week when it has been milder. So glad to get rid of winter - too cold and snowy this year. Glad you increase himself's meds and it's working. Certainly makes life better for both of you. Glad your dish appt. was moved up and that you 2nd booster is coming soon as well.

  9. I'm so glad you and himself are both having a good day. It's been a great day here also. I was able to go to my pilates class which is helping my knee and back heal. Daisy and I spent some time outside - I think tomorrow we will venture out for a very short walk. Daisy needs to get out of the house, and so do I.

  11. It feels and looks like spring here, but snow is back on Monday.

I need to check out if we can get another booster. So glad that you're able to get one.

  12. Good evening, Lynda. I just wanted to tell you we had geese here all winter. Our rivers didn't freeze over completely so they stayed, I am in mid Michigan and usually by January they have gone to warmer climates. It shouldn't be much longer and you will be seeing them. We even had a few swan stop in our area for a few days. Crocus are blooming and the daffodils and tulips are starting to make their presence known. You be careful on the ice.

  13. Glad your temps are slowly going up. We expect severe weather tomorrow night, but warmer at the same time. Enjoy being outside, and buying bananas. Good luck with the med increase helping.
