The Devil made me do it!

Good day to you all--  I was up in the dark cutting grass last evening---  My grass guy decided he wasn't coming out here--I called my Grandson , who now has a job at Canadian Tire--until school starts--but he had to work till 8pm-----then said he would come out---and he did--but-- I was afraid he would be cutting in the dark, so I went out and started to cut---I am tired this AM---- Life throws curve balls at you sometimes doesn't it?----- "Just suck it up--and do it""---is my motto--But----I am pretty tired--

Himself has his Day Program this AM---As soon as he gives me the word, I am out of here to drive him there. And then Bill at the Nappa store,  said if I bring my Weed Whackers, he wiil restring them for me--

So, here I go -for now-----BUT---  I SHALL RETURN---Yes--  WE JUST KEEP GOING!

and----and---
I am back----I had the weed whackers restrung---  and then----AND THEN

I'll say it very fast because i can hear you all saying, "OHHHHHH Noooooo"-------BECAUSE------

I STOPPED AT OUR LADIES STORE WHERE THERE IS A HALF PRICE SALE GOING ON and--

I spent $300 on about 6 Articles of clothing---

Do I really need these outfits? --of course------------(not!)------Lord love a Duck----so, the summer outfits which are so large on me--I have them packaged up for my seamstress who will  wear them----and ----  the new "Duds"-----of course are hidden in my closet---OH MAN!!!!

The Devil made me do it!

I am off AGAIN to pick up the man of the house---  We have rain falling---very hot however---Try to behave yourself while I am gone--Stay away from "summer sales""----unless of course , everything is half price! -----Maybe I bought these outfits to visit the Queen----  Oh no---We do not have the Queen!

  1. Hi Lynda,
Today's insert says it all. That's how it is for me. We live in a villa so I no longer have to worry about the lawn but everything, and I mean everything is mine to handle. Most days it's ok. Is what it is.
Sorry grass man canceled and grandson wasn't available. Sorry you had to cut it all yourself. The plus is we keep moving....so we can keep moving.
Bill, the stringer guy, is a big help to you. I appreciate Bill for you lol
Hoping doc stays pleasant all weekend. Hang in. Hope you can rest and relax later.
    Hugs and blessings

  4. It's Kathy. Yes, we women have to do it all! And I am also very tired! But I have cleaned my house as much as I can so I am taking the long weekend off to take care of myself before my surgery. Thank you for your well wishes. The surgery was finally approved by the insurance company so I have nothing else to worry about right now! Just trying to catch up with everything. I'm sorry you had to be out mowing - it's unfortunate that the grass guy decided not to come. Is he ill? I'm glad your grandson could help you! My neighbor's grandson comes once a week to do her yard! Have a good day!
